Counter Logic Gaming
Counter Logic Gaming (CLG) is a North American eSports organization headquartered in Los Angeles, California. It was founded in April 2010 by George "HotshotGG" Georgallidis and Alexander "Vodoo" Beutel as a ''League of Legends'' teams and has since branched out into other games.
CLG fields the oldest ''League of Legends'' (''LoL'') team still active, having competed in every split of the North American League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) since it began in Spring 2013. On 23 August 2015 CLG won the 2015 Summer Split of LCS, their first victory in the competition. The team have also appeared in two League of Legends World Championships in 2012 and 2015, placing 9 - 10th in the former.
The organisation also fields ''Halo 2: Anniversary'', ''Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO)'' and ''Super Smash Bros. Melee'' teams, and previously included a ''Dota 2'' team. The organization was also one of the first in North America to implement a multi-team gaming house. Located in Southern California, the current residence is able to house all their major divisions and the management staff on a permanent basis.
